Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility
These Terms are an agreement between you and Curber. By using Curber or accepting the in-app consent, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter this agreement. Keep your account secure and give us accurate information.
What Curber provides
Curber is a local discovery and listing service for yard, garage, estate, moving, and similar sales. Hosts publish listings and shoppers discover them. Curber is not the buyer, seller, auctioneer, broker, escrow agent, delivery service, or party to a curbside transaction. Asking prices and availability are supplied by hosts and may change.
Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of content you post and give Curber a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, screen, display, and distribute it only as needed to operate and promote the service. You represent that you have the right to post it. Do not post or facilitate stolen or illegal goods, weapons where prohibited, regulated substances, scams, counterfeit goods, sexual or exploitative content, hateful or violent content, malware, spam, harassment, privacy violations, or anything that infringes another person’s rights. Do not scrape, reverse engineer, evade limits, impersonate others, manipulate rankings, or interfere with the service.
AI and moderation
Automated systems screen photo uploads, listing text, messages, and sale inquiries for safety. Automated systems can make mistakes and their results are not appraisals, guarantees, or legal determinations. You must review your listing. Curber may reject an upload, limit an account, hide or remove content, preserve records, investigate reports, or report information when reasonably required by safety or law. You can report content in the product and contact us to appeal a moderation decision.
Meetups and transactions
You are responsible for the legality, description, condition, price, exchange, and taxes associated with items. Confirm important details before traveling. Use ordinary care around strangers, cash, private property, traffic, and item safety. Curber does not inspect listings, guarantee users, or guarantee that an item remains available.
Payments and previous purchases
Curber’s core browsing, posting, saved-search, and weekend-planning features are free. You can browse, save sales and searches, plan a route, and draft a sale without an account. Guest work stays in your browser; signing in enables account syncing, messages, alerts, and publishing. New paid passes and listing promotions are paused, but Curber retains historical billing records and Stripe account access so prior customers can manage their billing. If optional paid services return, their price, renewal terms, limits, and benefit will be shown before checkout. Promotion codes may have an expiration, redemption limit, customer restriction, or limited discount period shown when issued. They have no cash value and may be disabled for misuse. Except where law requires otherwise, completed digital purchases are non-refundable after the benefit is delivered. Contact privacy@curber.app for duplicate charges, failed delivery, or billing errors. Refunds, reversals, chargebacks, or fraud may revoke the associated benefit.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Curber or delete your account. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access, or remove content, when we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, payment was reversed, risk exists, or the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should survive—such as licenses already used, payment duties, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue after termination.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curber is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or transaction outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curber will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for conduct, goods, meetups, or content of users. Curber’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Curber during the prior 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so those limits apply only as allowed.
Changes and contact
We may change the service or these Terms. We will update the effective date and request renewed consent when required. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Questions, billing concerns, copyright notices, and appeals can be sent to privacy@curber.app.
