What Curber does

Curber is a listing board for yard, garage, estate, and moving sales. You post what you’re selling. Hunters find sales by place and by item.

Listings and meetups

Don’t post stolen goods, scams, or anything illegal. You’re responsible for your listing, your photos, and meeting buyers. Curber does not take payment for items and does not escrow cash at the curb.

Asking prices are optional and are not promises that an item remains available. Hosts should keep inventory current and end a sale when it is over. Hunters should confirm important details before making a long trip. Use ordinary care when meeting strangers and handling cash.

Pass and Pin

Pass and Pin are optional digital products. Cards are charged by Stripe — Curber never sees or stores card numbers. Entitlements turn on only after Stripe marks the payment paid (webhook) or you redeem a staff promo code. A local preview without Stripe keys may grant Pass at $0 so we can test the product, not sneak a charge.

Safety and moderation

Photos are screened before Curber stores or publishes a new upload. We reject sexual, violent, hateful, and exploitative images. Known-illegal-image hash matching may be added after its reporting and secure preservation process is ready. Curber may preserve and report material when the law requires it. Humans still review reports. Staff may hide listings, restore them, or ban accounts. Don’t spam messages or reports.

Availability

Curber may change, suspend, or discontinue features and does not guarantee that every listing is accurate or that the service is always available. To the extent allowed by law, Curber is provided as-is and is not a party to transactions between hosts and hunters.
